Paulo Vannuchi, head of the National Secretariat of Human Rights, speaks about dictatorship-era files in Rio de Janeiro, Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009. Following publication in the U.S. of a declassified document about a 1971 meeting between President Richard Nixon and Brazilian President Emilio Medici, the daughter of overthrown Chilean President Salvador Allende is asking via Twitter that Brazil open secret archives to shed light on any role it may have played Chile's 1973 coup.
