Brazil court supports US dad in son's custody case (AP)

AP - A federal appeals court ruled Wednesday that a 9-year-old boy living in Brazil should be returned to his American father, but the case will likely be appealed again, officials said. U.S Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton praised the decision.

Dr. Luiz Cesar Soltoski told The Associated Press that surgeons hope to remove most of the needles — some as long as 2 inches (5 centimeters)_ but because some are stuck in his lungs, they have to wait until the child's breathing improves.


Paraguay-Brazil energy treaty going nowhere fast (AP)
